Hugh developed his HR career after a series of commercial and operational roles within the food manufacturing and telecommunications sectors. He has 16 years HR experience, initially focused on recruitment programmes and subsequently held a series of employee talent-development roles with both policy and implementation responsibilities. Prior to a move to consultancy he acquired a broadened field of expertise in general HR management and employment policy.
After line management roles with Spillers Dalgety, Hugh held roles with BT and with Concert, a UK/US telecoms joint venture. He holds a number of non-executive positions in the commercial and charity sectors.
