For many companies, both large and small, issues involving staff
frequently arise and take a lot of time to resolve. Regrettably many
managers can inadvertently make things worse through lack of
understanding of employment law and the investigation and disciplinary
and grievance hearings can become flawed due to the bias and
assumptions that proliferate within Companies.
Larger employers
have started to outsource the "investigation" of the grievance or
disciplinary issues to external investigators, who are totally
independent and who can interview the relevant people, collect
documentation and then with their specialist knowledge and
understanding can write a report for the employer.
