Jigsaw HR approach:
Firstly we looked at the redundancy implications and advised, wrote scripts and letters for the Client to use. We then helped the Client by producing a Competency Profile. This was then used to build an Assessment Centre to assess whether candidates had the competencies listed. We trained the Client's own Managers in assessment techniques and then facilitated the 2 days of the Assessment Centres. |
Achievements:

No compulsory redundancies made, all staff redeployed and no claims against the company.

Client able to select the best candidates against profile for the job.

Feedback to both successful and unsuccessful candidates was given to aid future development plans.

Client was able to have comprehensive results by competency and therefore knew where to focus its training efforts for the future (this information also helped them to gain the budget from their American parent company). |
