From the 6th April the amount of service an employee needs to have will change
from 12 months to two years.
This will apply to new staff joining you from 6th April 2012 and is not retrospective, so
you will need to ensure that you treat these two groups differently if you are to avoid
a potential Tribunal claim for unfair dismissal.
